Ben Cox to depart Leicestershire

Leicestershire County Cricket Club can confirm that wicketkeeper-batter Ben Cox will leave the Club upon the expiry of his contract at the end of this month
Cox initially joined the Foxes on loan towards the end of the 2023 season, before making the move permanent on a three-year deal ahead of the 2024 campaign.
During his time at Leicestershire, Cox scored exactly 3,400 runs across all three formats, while also completing 154 dismissals behind the stumps.
Director of Cricket Claude Henderson said:
“Coxy has been a fantastic professional and has made a valuable contribution to the Club during his three seasons with us.
“His experience and professionalism have been hugely important within the dressing room, while his performances with both the bat and the gloves have played their part in some special moments for the Club.
“We’d like to thank Coxy for everything he has given to Leicestershire and wish him and his family nothing but the very best for whatever comes next.”
