Leicestershire County Cricket Club is delighted to have been nominated in the Best Development or New Facility under £500,000 category at the Business of Cricket Awards (BOCAs), recognising the redevelopment of the Charles Palmer Suite and Fox Bar.

The nomination marks a proud moment for everyone involved in the project, which has enhanced two key spaces at Uptonsteel Grace Road for supporters, hospitality guests and visitors attending events throughout the year.
The redevelopment reflects the Club’s commitment to improving its facilities and strengthening the ground’s appeal as a destination for both cricket and private events.
Emma White, Chief Executive of Leicestershire County Cricket Club, said: “We are delighted to receive this nomination for the redevelopment of our Charles Palmer Suite and Fox Bar. It is a wonderful recognition of the hard work and care that everyone involved has put into the project.
“We want Uptonsteel Grace Road to be a place that people enjoy visiting, whether they are joining us for cricket, celebrating a special occasion or bringing colleagues together. Investing in these spaces is an important part of that ambition.
“Everyone who helped bring the redevelopment to life should feel proud of this recognition, and we look forward to welcoming many more guests through our doors.”

The Club would also like to thank Alison Deverill from Design Difference for her work on the project. Her creativity and attention to detail have helped bring the vision for the Charles Palmer Suite and Fox Bar to life, creating spaces we are proud to share with our supporters and guests.
Alongside its role on matchdays, the Charles Palmer Suite offers a flexible setting for private celebrations, dinners, conferences and corporate functions, with views across the pitch.
