Cox Claims First-Ever Manscaped Moment of the Month Award Following Maiden Foxes Century

Leicestershire’s Ben Cox has been named the inaugural winner of the Club’s Manscaped Moment of the Month award for April, following his remarkable century against Surrey County Cricket Club at the Kia Oval.

The wicketkeeper-batter produced a magnificent 162 from 232 deliveries in one of the standout innings of the opening month of the season, helping guide the Foxes in a battling display away from home.

The innings carried extra significance for Cox, as it marked his maiden century for Leicestershire and his first first-class hundred in 2,558 days - a wait of just over seven years.

Having signed a three-year deal with the Foxes ahead of the 2024 season after featuring in the Club’s final four County Championship matches in 2023, Cox’s knock was a hugely emotional milestone in his Leicestershire journey.

Cox has also spoken openly about personal challenges away from cricket in recent years, making the innings all the more meaningful.

Speaking after reaching three figures at The Oval, Cox said: “This knock came on a good day, a proud day, a special day.”

His composed and resilient innings earned widespread praise from supporters, who voted the century as April’s Manscaped Moment of the Month - the first winner of the new award in collaboration with Manscaped.

From May onwards, Foxes fans will have the opportunity to vote for their own Manscaped Moment of the Month, selecting their favourite on-field highlight from each month throughout the season.
