East Midlands Airport Announced as Official Partner of Leicestershire County Cricket Club

Leicestershire County Cricket Club (LCCC) is delighted to announce a new partnership with East Midlands Airport, who will join the club as an Official Partner.

The partnership builds on a growing relationship between the two organisations and follows the club’s successful season kit launch, which was hosted at East Midlands Airport earlier this year. The unique setting provided a memorable backdrop as the club unveiled its new playing kits ahead of the upcoming season.

As part of the partnership, East Midlands Airport will work with the club across the season to engage with supporters and strengthen its connection with the local community.

Charlie Bannister, Head of Commercial at Leicestershire County Cricket Club, said:

"We’re delighted to welcome East Midlands Airport as an official partner of the club. Hosting our recent kit launch at the airport was a fantastic experience and demonstrated the potential of what we can achieve together. East Midlands Airport is a hugely important gateway for the region, and we’re proud to be working with an organisation that shares our commitment to supporting the local community."

Commercial Director Adam Andrews at East Midlands Airport, added:

"We’re very pleased to be partnering with Leicestershire County Cricket Club. The kit launch earlier this year was a brilliant event and a great way to bring our two organisations together. As the region’s airport, we’re passionate about supporting local institutions that bring people together, and we’re excited to work with the club and engage with its supporters throughout the season."

East Midlands Airport branding will feature across the club’s digital platforms and matchday environment as part of the agreement, helping to further strengthen the connection between the airport, the club and the region’s cricket fans
