Foxes Women lose to tier 1 bound Glamorgan in One Day Cup

Host skipper Parfitt did the heavy lifting in the Glamorgan innings, hitting 73 whilst her teammates pitched in scoring runs around her. A flurry of wickets after drinks brought Leicestershire back into the game, especially the departure of Sturge for 34 which she made in just 33 balls. However, Porter and Phillips put on 69 for the eighth wicket and helped the hosts to a competitive 263/7 from their fifty overs.

Three early wickets saw Glamorgan take the driving seat before the drinks in the second innings. Brooker and Watson rebuilt the innings, but the slow run-rate forced them to be more aggressive later in the afternoon.
