Friends of Grace Road Founder Member Passes Away
Peter Norman, 89, sadly passed away. He was a founding member of the Friends of Grace Road and was elected Treasurer at the first meeting in October 1970, which took place at the Old Cricket Ground Hotel, now known as The Cricketers pub. Peter was the last surviving member of the original committee and was a dedicated member of Leicestershire CCC for 50 years. Unfortunately, due to poor health, he was unable to visit Grace Road in recent times.
Peter's funeral will take place at Great Glen Crematorium at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, 15th July.
