Two of Leicestershire's brightest young talents, Aryan Banker and Vidyut Srikumar, have been selected to represent the Midlands at this year's Bunbury Cricket Festival, taking place at Loughborough University.
The pair have earned their places in the representative squad following impressive performances within Leicestershire's pathway programme, where both players have continued to develop and showcase their potential.
They are joined by Leicestershire Academy and Pathway Lead, Jigar Naik, who has been appointed as Assistant Coach for the Midlands side during the festival.
The Bunbury Cricket Festival is regarded as one of the country's leading youth cricket events, bringing together some of the most talented young cricketers from across England. The tournament provides players with the opportunity to test themselves against elite opposition while performing in front of county coaches and talent scouts.
The dual player selection, alongside Naik's coaching appointment, highlights the continued strength of Leicestershire's player pathway and the Club's commitment to developing the next generation of cricketers.
Everyone at Leicestershire County Cricket Club congratulates Aryan, Vidyut and Jigar on their respective selections and wishes them every success at this year's Bunbury Cricket Festival.
