The Foxes take on Somerset for the first time in any competition since 18 August 2024 as their Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign continues.
This fixture will be Leicestershire’s sixth match in the space of just 12 days, capping off a demanding run of fixtures in the group stage. The Foxes will be looking to build on an encouraging and eventful start to the competition, having produced several eye-catching performances across their opening five matches.
One of the standout moments of the campaign so far came against Northamptonshire just yesterday, when Rishi Patel etched his name into the record books with the fastest List A century in Leicestershire history.
With another important group-stage clash ahead, Leicestershire will be aiming to continue their positive momentum and strengthen their position in the race for qualification.
