Leicestershire return to Rothesay County Championship action as Glamorgan are the visitors to Uptonsteel Grace Road.
The Foxes tasted success last time out in this competition, with Rehan Ahmed and Nick Kelly both registering centuries in an innings victory over Yorkshire. This provided the Foxes their first win in Division 1 this year, and along with an succesful 50-over campaign, they'll be hoping they can make the most of this momentum with a huge 6 County Championship matches remaining as the Foxes fight for survival.
Our guests, Glamorgan, have enjoyed their time in the top-flight of red ball cricket so far, winning three of their eight matches this season. Wins will certainly be on the mind of Glamorgan as they sit just 9 points behind leaders Nottinghamshire.
SQUAD:
Hamza Shaikh is in line to make his First-Class debut for Leicestershire after a standout 50-over competition.
With a few injuries picked up during the Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign, there are a few players missing from the Foxes squad this week. Ben Green picked up a quad injury, Steven Eskinazi injured his shoulder during Sunday’s semi-final, and wicketkeeper Ben Cox is out with concussion.

OPPOSITION PLAYER TO WATCH:
All-rounder Ben Kellaway has had an outstanding season in red-ball cricket so far in 2026. The ambidextrous spinner has taken six wickets so far this campaign, but it is his batting that has stood out for the Welsh county, with 435 runs at an average just shy of 50, including three half-centuries and a top score of 139.
