Leicestershire travel to Hove this weekend to face Sussex in the Rothesay County Championship, with the side aiming to respond positively following last week’s 10-wicket defeat to reigning champions Nottinghamshire. The Foxes have made an encouraging start to the season overall and will be looking to put in a strong performance against a Sussex side who have also impressed during the opening stages of the campaign
SQUAD:
Tom Helm joined the Foxes on a two-week loan deal yesterday and goes straight into the squad for the trip to Sussex. Alex Green is also included for the first time this season, while Josh Davey is unavailable after being substituted during last week’s match against Nottinghamshire.
Ian Holland*, Sol Budinger, Ben Cox +, Stephen Eskinazi, Alex Green, Ben Green, Tom Helm, Lewis Hill, Josh Hull, Ajaz Patel, Rishi Patel, Tom Scriven, Jonny Tattersall, Jake Weatherald.
Opposition Player to Watch:
Ollie Robinson will be the key man to watch for the hosts this weekend. Since taking on the captaincy, Robinson has excelled with both bat and ball, famously claiming a five-wicket haul and scoring a century from No.10 against Surrey. He has already taken 11 wickets in Division One this season, helping guide his side to two victories so far in the campaign.
