Sam Wood Joins Notts Outlaws On Loan

Leicestershire Foxes can confirm that seam-bowling all-rounder Sam Wood has joined Notts Outlaws on loan for the remainder of the 2026 Metro Bank One Day Cup.
The 21-year-old Academy graduate will spend the rest of the 50-over competition with the Outlaws in search of further first-team opportunities, continuing his development in senior county cricket.
Wood has been part of the Foxes' senior squad this season, featuring three times in 2026. Twice in the Rothesay County Championship and the once in the Vitality T20 Blast.
The loan move will provide the young all-rounder with valuable experience in List A cricket.
