Joining ahead of the 2026 season, Davey adds a breadth of international and first-class experience to the foxes bowling attack.
Davey returns to the club on a three-year contract after a short loan spell in 2023.
The 35-year-old first made his Scotland debut in 2010, taking 5 for 9 against Afghanistan and has since then taken 87 wickets for his country.
Across spells with Middlesex, Somerset, Hampshire and the Foxes, Davey has made 282 appearances, amassing 462 wickets.
Also capable with the bat, Davey opened the batting for Somerset in the championship at times during the 2025 campaign and across his career has scored over 3500 runs.
